Putting Membership on Hold
Put your Y membership on hold for up to 3 months at $10/month. Membership holds require a 5-day notice prior to your draft day. Fill out the hold form below and we’ll be in contact with you shortly.
Cancel My Membership
Please note the following when canceling:
- I understand that cancelling my membership may result in non-member rates being applied to any programs my unit is enrolled in, if applicable.
- I acknowledge that to cancel my membership for the following month, I must submit my cancellation request before the final day of the current month, regardless of my draft date.
- I also understand that it is my responsibility to confirm the cancellation was successful and that the Y is no longer withdrawing membership fees, and that the Y is not responsible for reimbursing membership fees beyond one month after the cancellation request date.
Account Help and Questions
Some programs are open to the public, but members receive discounted rates and early registration access.
You can register online through our website or at the front desk of any YMCA of the Fox Cities branch.
With Nationwide Membership, you now have the added value of visiting Ys across the United States and Canada. On average, at least 50% of your visits must be to your home YMCA (the local association that enrolled you and collects your membership dues). Most YMCAs require a photo ID for all visitors. Please bring a photo ID with you for a seamless customer experience. You will also be asked to sign a waiver when visiting other locations. Visit ymca.org before you travel to make sure the Y you intend to visit participates.
The YMCA utilizes an automated service to help manage payment returns. With this service, members will receive messages to update account information on the YMCA’s behalf. A $25 return fee will be added for membership payments that decline/return for insufficient funds. Because of this, please be mindful of your draft date to prevent any unwanted overdraft fees.
Monthly membership fees may be put on hold for medical, travel or personal emergency reasons for 1-3 months each calendar year. Membership cancellations can be done online through your YMCA account.
