YMCA School Age Programs are offered across multiple school districts and YMCA branch areas throughout the Fox Cities. Families can find before school, after school and select no-school-day options based on their child’s school district and location. Offerings vary by school site, including whether care is available before and after school or after school only. District Location Groups
School Age locations are organized by school district and the YMCA branch area that serves each district. Select your district to review available sites, care type, registration links and rates.
Appleton Area School District Extended Day Learning
Extended Day Learning Program locations include Dunlap, Franklin, Horizons, Huntley, Jefferson, Johnston, McKinley and Richmond.
Appleton Area School District
Served through the Appleton YMCA, with locations at Appleton Public Montessori, Classical Charter, Ferber, Houdini, Janet Berry and Sandy Slope.
Freedom & Wrightstown School Districts
Served through the Apple Creek YMCA, with after-care options at St. Peter Lutheran School in Freedom and Wrightstown Elementary School.
Hortonville Area School District
Served through Fox West YMCA, with locations at Fox West YMCA, Greenville Elementary, North Greenville Elementary and Hortonville Elementary.
Kaukauna & Kimberly Area School Districts
Served through Heart of the Valley YMCA, with Kaukauna and Kimberly school district locations including Janssen, Mapleview, Park, Sunrise, Tanner, Victor Haen, Westside, Woodland and Quinney.
Neenah Joint School District
Served through Neenah-Menasha YMCA, with locations at Alliance, Clayton, Coolidge, Horace Mann, Lakeview, Neenah Middle School, Spring Road, Taft and Tullar.
Care Types & Hours
Before-care hours vary by program, with many school-age locations beginning at 6:30 AM and continuing until school starts. After-care hours typically begin at school dismissal and run until either 5:30 PM or 6:00 PM depending on the district and site. Some locations offer before and after care, while others offer after care only. Families should review their district’s detail page and rate sheet before registering to confirm the exact care type, schedule and site availability.
Appleton Area Sites
Appleton-area school age programming includes both the Appleton Area School District Extended Day Learning Program and Appleton YMCA school site locations. Review each program carefully because locations, schedules and contacts vary.
AASD Extended Day Learning
Locations include Dunlap, Franklin, Horizons, Huntley, Jefferson, Johnston, McKinley and Richmond. Daily schedule details include before school from 6:30–8:05 AM and after school with arrival, homework/tutoring and enrichment time.
Appleton YMCA School Sites
Before and after care is listed for Ferber, Houdini, Janet Berry and Sandy Slope. After care only is listed for Appleton Public Montessori and Classical Charter.
